Importing Flight and Schedule Records Importing a standard format:

ZuluLog supports all major flight and schedule record formats.

To import completed flight records, use the Import Flights screen from the Pilot Logbook menu.
To link your account to an external app such as Flight Crew View, go to the flight import screen as above and select "Do it yourself." Then select the app name from the External API drop-down.
To import schedule records for upcoming flights, use the Import Schedules screen from the Schedules menu.

Hint: Imported schedule records will appear at the top of the Flight Entry screen once the scheduled date has been reached. This makes it easy to turn a schedule into a flight record.

Importing your own format:

If you have a custom spreadsheet with your own column names, we'll be happy to import it for you. Just select "Let us do it for you" from the Import Flights screen.

Some things to keep in mind if you'd like us to import a custom format:

We cannot import PDF or HTML files. All files must be exported to CSV or TSV format first.
Files must contain column headers in row 1, and one flight per row starting on row 2. Any "totals per page" rows or subsequent header rows should be deleted.
Each flight row must contain a complete date including the year.
Each row must contain details for only one flight. For multi-flight totals, use the Previous Totals screen.
